Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI)
In Watertown, SD. Offers the diploma in Practical Nursing leading to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Practical Nursing Program is accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN). The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing. The Practical Nursing program is the only NLN-accredited nursing program in South Dakota. To Learn more click here.

The University of South Dakota (USD)
In Vermillion, SD. Offers with the Good Samaritan Society, the "Growing Our Own" RN program an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ADN). The Department of Nursing was awarded continuing accreditation by the National League of Nursing (NLN) Accrediting Commissions (NLNAC) through 2006 and is approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing. In October 2004, USD Department of Nursing was designated by the NLN as a Center of Excellence. It is one of only three such designees in the country. To learn more click here.

South Dakota State University (SDSU)
In Brookings, SD. Offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), BSN Upward Mobility Option and the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with two tracks: Family Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Administrator.
